Book
Reviews
Pastor Watson's friend and
fellow pastor, Dr. Gary Gilley, carries on a wonderful
ministry of doing book reviews. He is discerning and
always weighs books on the scales of Scripture. We
highly recommend his website: http://www.svchapel.org/resources/book-reviews
.
While we do prefer Pastor Gilley's, another good site for reviews is
"Discerning Reader": www.discerningreader.com/book-reviews.
While Pastor
Watson reads mostly older writers, he does read some
contemporary writers as well, but not as many as the
above "super readers" (he reads slower). From time to
time (once a month is our goal) we will
post Pastor Watson's reviews here. We hope
they will be helpful for you in choosing solid reading
material.
